K10 Congrats to our latest completer Musa Jallow

Musa Jallow web

Musa Jallow came to K10 at the end of 2012. Although he had some experience of the construction industry as an agency worker, doing general labouring on site, he had had little opportunity to make the all-important step to becoming a fully qualified tradesman. This situation changed for Musa the day he was taken on by K10.

He became an Apprentice Construction Operative for the LLDC on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford and he never looked back. During his apprenticeship Musa was well known for his enthusiastic approach, his positive attitude and his continuous good humour, and he became a popular figure across all the various teams and sites he worked with.

Musa’s can-do attitude meant that he was ready to meet any challenge: as he says himself, “Don’t ever run away from your problems”. Throughout his apprenticeship, Musa was appreciative of the support he got from his various supervisors and team colleagues, and he quickly became known as an excellent team player himself.

Musa’s final placement was with DSJV. Now he has completed his apprenticeship, he has been taken on full time by DSJV/TGT , operating as a telehandler. He will be going on to do supervisory training – SSSTS. Everyone at K10 is proud of his achievement , and wishes him every success for the future.

But enough of our waffling…here’s the main man himself with his own very unique take on working on the Olympic Park.
