Danielle’s Converted Her Potential In Brent!

Danielle Richards

Age: 28

Trade: Business Administrator

Borough: Brent

Apprenticeship: Level 2 Business Administration

College: InTraining

Background: Before K10, Danielle was struggling to find employment as she was seen as underqualified or inexperienced by employers. She started to look into apprenticeships which therefore led her to K10.

What happened next: Danielle came into the K10 Office and impressed us thoroughly. She was then placed with her host employer of Structure Consulting Limited and started her apprenticeship.

During the Apprenticeship: Danielle expressed that she gained confidence working on site. ‘I achieved a qualification which makes me more employable on top of the experience I have gained through the placement I was put on. I also enjoyed working as well as studying, meeting new people helped me with my social skills and communication. SCL provided such a great working environment for me, if it wasn’t for them relocating, I would have been taken on into full time employment. Another thing I really enjoyed about my apprenticeship was the training provider, InTraining as the way they work meant that I didn’t have to go to college, they came to me. This was so convenient. In terms of looking back and doing things differently, there really isn’t anything that I would change, it all worked out so well for me. K10 gave me the chance to better myself. They got me a job and helped me get the qualifications alongside the experience I needed to really give myself a chance’

After the Apprenticeship: Danielle completed her Level 2 in Business Administration and is currently working for Cosmur Construction Ltd as an administrator on £300 a week. Such great news for such a great apprentice.

Well done Danielle, everyone here at K10 knew you could do it and what a great job you did!
