RAKIB ALI

Borough: Tower Hamlets

Trade: Trainee Assistant Site Manager

Qualification: Level 3  Construction and the Built environment

Contractor: Galliford Try

Project Name: Capstan House

Rakib started his 2nd apprenticeship with K10 in July 2018 after previously completing level 2 construction operations with us earlier in the year. He is now working as an assistant site management apprentice on Galliford Try’s Capstan House project, in his resident borough of Tower Hamlets.  Rakib has made the transition from working on the tools to working in construction management seem effortless, he’s trusted with various responsibilities on site and is a popular member of the Galliford Try team.

”I’d like to say big thank you to K10 and Galliford Try for supporting me through this apprenticeship, it’s nice to see my hard work and dedication has been recognised! I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience working in construction from the first apprenticeship I completed, but I am still learning and I would like to carry on developing. I am really looking forward to having a career within the construction industry, working with Galliford Try” Rakib Ali, Assistant Site Manager

‘’Rakib has been an exemplary apprentice since he started on our Capstan House project earlier this year. He’s learning all the processes and understanding what it takes to be a site manager, on a day to day basis. Rakib is enthusiastic and always willing to help, we’re delighted to have him as part of the Galliford Try team’’ Neil Williamson, Galliford Try Operations Director
