Berkeley Homes kindly hosted an event for K10 and representatives from the Cabinet Office at Woodberry Down a few weeks ago. The event was an opportunity for the Social Investment and Finance Team to gain further in-depth understanding of how K10’s business model works and what our experience of social investment has been. Richard Flaye, K10 Chairman joined the session to offer insight into being a social angel investor and to understand the reality of what gaining investment is like at the early stage of a start-up. Woodberry Down provided an inspiring setting for the afternoon, putting the collaborative partnership with the Borough of Hackney, Berkeley Homes and K10 into context.
