Stuart Hollands

Borough: Islington

Trade: Electrician

Qualification: Level 3 Electrical Installation

Main Contractor: Mace

Sub-Contractor: Emico

Project Name: Camden Lock Village

Working for Emico on MACE’s Camden Lock Village Project in Camden. Stuart only started in March 2018 but has already completed the majority of his portfolio and is hoping to do his AM2 early in the New year.  Stuart had worked in the industry for a number of years as an electrician’s mate but found progressing difficult without his NVQ.

Thank you very much K10 for giving me the opportunity to complete my NVQ level 3. I am also very grateful to Emico for giving me a work placement, support and all the training I have received. I would also thanks to the Mace team for providing a safe and friendly environment to work”- Stuart Hollands, Electrical Apprentice

Stuart has been on the Camden project with Emico for 10 months now, from early on he showed a very in-depth technical knowledge of all systems UFH, Lighting controls, thermostatic controls, BMS and all aspects of Electrical installation. His knowledge is far greater than is grade suggestions and has been a huge asset to our team. Stuart is part of our remaining team left on site closing out the job which speaks volumes of his ability and work ethic “ – John Healy, Emico, Electrical Project Manager
