From L to R: Craig (Walter McLaren Site Manager) / Lamarr Smith (Drylining Apprentice) / Stephen Connolly (Delmond Project Manager)
Last month our NVQ Lvl.2 Drylining apprentice Lamarr was presented with an ‘Excellent Performance’ award by his host contractors McLaren & Delmond.
Lamarr has been working on the 150 Holborn site since May this year and has hit the ground running, his line manager had this to say about his performance so far;
“Lamarr is a positive character on site and has the potential to become a great fixer in the future” – Stephen Connolly (Delmond Project Manager)
Lamarr was delighted with the recognition and hopes this is the first milestone of his new career in construction;
“Becoming an apprentice is proving to be one of the best decisions I have made. I really enjoy the work while training to become a qualified dryliner. A big thank you to McLaren for the award and Delmond for your support and guidance.”
We at K10 are always proud when one of our apprentices goes above and beyond, his apprentice manager Stefan echoes this;
“Everyone at K10 is very happy for Lamarr. He has been progressing well at college, which has reflected well in his on-site performance.”
