Jack Tanner – Crest Nicholson/BDL – Best 2nd Year Apprentice

Three K-10 construction workers in safety gear pose and smile together at a construction site. One proudly holds a certificate, while safety signs and a Crest Nicholson logo are displayed on the wall behind them.

Jack Tanner

Age: 21

Borough: Southwark

Trade: Dry Liner

Qualification: Level 2 Dry Lining

Contractor: Crest Nicholson/BDL

Jack joined K10 in the summer of 2016 and has come on leaps and bounds since. He should complete his qualification in early 2018 and as long as he keeps up his good work BDL are looking to offer him a role within their organisation.

’18 months ago I was unsure about what a Dry Lining was but thanks to the hard work and guidance of Crest Nicholson, BDL and K10 I am almost a fully qualified and have acquired skills that will enable me to forge a successful career in the industry. I hope to gain my qualification in the new ear and then explore the possibility of becoming a site supervisor’ – Jack Tanner, Dry Lining Apprentice

‘Jack has been an asset during his time with us on the two Crest Nicolson sites that he’s worked on. Myself and our sub-contractor BDL have been particularly impressed with his progress from a relative novice at the start of the year into an apprentice who is able to complete Dry-Lining tasks independently. Well done jack for winning this award and we look forward to seeing you complete your qualification in the new year!’ – Joe Rolland, Crest Nicholson Project Manager
