K10 are offering traineeships now. We believe this is a brilliant way to get a career in construction kick started and to match work experience with academic skill. It will be a 100 hour scheme in total. These are offered to those aged (—), have no qualification higher or equivalent to a Level 3 and currently unemployed.
K10 are also running 10 week training programmes to upskill those looking to enter the construction industry. With this, they will obtain a CSCS card, L1 Health and Safety in a Construction, L1 City & Guilds Construction Skills (6219) along with a full set of PPE. This course will also allow them to have taster sessions in Plumbing, Carpentry and Painting & Decorating as well as offering advice in career progression in construction. To be eligible, candidates must be between the ages of 19-23, in active receipt of some form of benefit and available two days a week.
