K10 would like to congratulate our Level 2 Drylining Apprentice Tommy Falco for his participation in the WorldSkills UK Nationals. Although Tommy did not get the top prize, he was ‘highly commended’ for his achievements. Tommy is currently working with BDL on their Google, Kings Cross project. A big thank you to BDL and West London College for their support!
Tommy has said “It was a huge privilege being entered into such a prestigious competition and to get to the WorldSkillsUK national final is something that I’m extremely proud of. Although I did not win, I am very happy to be awarded the Stretch Test Winner and to receive the ‘Highly Commended’ award for my effort.
Thank you to West London College for putting me forward and placing their faith in me! Another big thank you to the BDL team for taking me in and helping me settle on site. The scheme has helped me develop myself massively.”
